Housewarming coming at ya

My housewarming is indeed fast approaching - it is on this Saturday the 7th, from 3pm to 11pm approx.

Should be pretty cool. The house and yard is very spacious, and well suited for entertaining.

Still, there is a lot of preparation to do, and a tight budget as well. The theme for the party is Communism. I need to get some posters to reflect this, probably decorations as well. I was thinking posters of Lenin and Stalin, possibly Mao, Fidel Castro and Che Guevara . Oh, and Karl Marx. And an enormous hammer & sickle banner.

I need to look the part, so some kind of Russian Communist outfit (whatever that would be).

I was planning on having a barbeque in the backyard, so I need a barbeque. I also need to borrow a lawnmower, so I can mow the backyard. Also cricket gear, games such as Monopoly or Balderdash, and a data projector, possibly another sound system as well.

I was gonna hire a karaoke system but they are waaaay too expensive!

Now, you are probably thinking, “That sounds like a mad party! I wonder if I’m invited?” It’s quite simple really: if you know me, you are invited. Don’t know me? That’s just tough, you are missing out.

I’d like to see some people dress to the theme, but realistically not everyone will be able to, and that’s fine. Just wait til you see Tymon’s outfit.
