Zoo

A group of us are going to the Werribee Open Range Zoo this Saturday. Which will be way cool; I ain’t been there before, and I haven’t been to an “open” style zoo since I was 5 years old. That was on a family holiday to Dubbo (who takes holidays to Dubbo??) and the zoo was the Western Plains Zoo.

Some people are against zoos, saying that animals shouldn’t be kept in captivity. (Are these people also against pets?) At least zoo animals get to live long lives. In the wild, most animals only live until some other animals decides it wants to eat them.

I’m particularly looking forward to the vervet monkeys.
