In the past several years, every man and his dog has opened a cafe, but despite all that competition, prices have gone up. I mean, how often nowadays do you find good coffee for $2.50? That was the average price not so long ago. Discount coffee could work, but it would be better for them to advertise it as an opening special, rather than as their normal price. As for the bathing boxes, people do buy and sell them - they go for $600,000 each, or so I've heard. But the $600K doesn't buy the box itself, only the right to rent it from the council.
