Touching people is fun!

I don’t recall learning this in school:

(Hat tip to The Worst Generation Ever

That show was first made in 1972. The people who watched this in their formative years will be in their 40s now. For goodness sake, stay away from them.

That’s hilarious! I love how the intro to the video says not to copyright by television transmission. I bet they never could have imagined youtube back then.

That is classic…love old clips like that.

“Welcome to the land of touch…” - sounds like an adult film (and then there’s the woman whose breathy voice doesn’t help)!

“I like to touch smooth things…”

Oh… my… goodness…

Oh my, I remember this. Nooooooo! Don’t make me remember!!!

So the kids who really took this video to heart will constantly be trying to touch me, and when I say ‘No’ they’ll persist, saying ‘But I am the most important person in the world and I want to touch you’. ARRRR!

Don’t touch me, everyone. I’m sharp. (Ba-dum-ching!)

I wonder if today’s kids shows will look just as weird in 30 years time. Hmm.

Molk, get your mind out of the gutter. :P

haha i loved it. if i achieve half the cinematic genius of that film, i will be proud of myself.

“Did you have a good nap, Judy?”
“Oh yes! I had a lot of fun touching things…”

=S

“I had a lot of fun touching things”

That could be a Salad Fingers quote right there.

Creepy …

Don’t think I saw that one, or I would bare the scar. I do bare the scars of watching Inspector Gadget, Teddy Ruxpin, and the particularly disturbing 60s cartoon Tales of the Wizard of Oz, but did benefit from The Log Driver’s Waltz

Kids shows are always interesting - I might do a few more posts on the subject.

But scars from Inspector Gadget? That show was awesome! not nearly so awesome as Astro Boy, though.

I would watch Astro Boy now if it was still on TV.
