I already had a list going in the About page, but Pete of Great Circle has just tagged me with a “Best of” meme. This affords me a great opportunity to update the list.
And here it is, with no further ado:
- What I Learned From Teen Girl Squad - A silly post that turns deep and meaningful halfway through. A bit like Paris Hilton becoming a life coach.
- Top 5 Science Experiments On Cats - Educational, and more than a little disturbing.
- Today’s burning issue: Women, name tags, placement thereof. - I had to get this off my chest, as it concerned the chests of others.
- Cats are of the DEVIL! - Christians should not own cats due to their evil satanic nature. Kind of goes without saying, really.
- The Atheist Delusion - Fearless person that I am, I decide it’s time to take on every atheist on the internet. Only one responds. Clearly the others were too much in awe of my awesome rhetorical skills.
- My dad’s underpants - A tale of evil stinky underpants that corrupt all they touch.
- Laughter and romantic false starts - Romantic woe. We’ve all been there. Remind yourself of how silly the opposite sex is.
- Western Australia doesn’t exist - I expose the myth of Western Australia. Despite compelling logic and reasoning, one of my readers is so brainwashed as to think the state actually exists. Hilarity ensues in the comments.
- Another hard day at work - I discuss my former job, in which I did nothing and was well paid for it.
- Satan’s evil henchmen offer 22 percent off - My brother is threatened with a frivolous lawsuit. I unleash both barrels at the offending company.
- Five word coffee shop reviews - The quirky idea that became an obsession - reviewing cafes in just five words. Link goes to the original post that started it all.
Now I have to tag people. This will be random; so many have been tagged already. Go like the wind, people:
- Doing business with style
- a roll of the dice
- Ironic1
- Super Blogging
- Your blog. I’m holding out the baton; will you take it? (Okay, I wasn’t sure who else to tag …)
You must play by these Meme Rules (according to our author William):
- Please try to limit your post to 10 items or less (like I just did *snicker*)
- Tag 5 of your friends or blogrollers
- Take your time. Do some digging in the archives and find the perfect ones - it’s to your advantage more than anything else. Just think: if you were to pull out no more than 10 existing posts from your blog which hit the high points of your blog SO FAR, (with the specific intent that your blog will be DEFINED by these posts) and put all your future writings into better context, which posts would they be?
- Please if possible, link to this post for meme info, and please link to the post that you were tagged in. Memes go on for quite a long time and when trying to follow one backwards to see some of the other posts, it gets quite difficult when only the blog URL is used.. Just a request.
- The people you tag, please let them know by email, contact form or some other efficient method.
So there you are. Meme accomplished. Whew!
